Pros

If you’re motivated and can handle pressure, this can be a great place to build confidence, make money and get real recruiting experience fast. It’s very much sink-or-swim, but if you figure it out, you’ll come out stronger. You get exposure to leadership, learn through trial and error, and can build solid relationships both in the office and across the recruiting space. It definitely helped me grow resilience and sharpen my recruiting skills.

Cons

The culture has some concerns. Feedback and departures didn’t always feel like they were handled in a way that encouraged honesty, and at times it felt like speaking openly wasn’t always comfortable—even after leaving. There were moments where value felt inconsistent—like recognition and treatment didn’t always align with performance. From my experience, there were gaps in experienced leadership, accountability, and a people-first approach. Some leadership styles felt outdated and not always effective in a modern workplace. I experienced concerns for the ways employees with circumstances were treated. Without a real HR structure, concerns didn’t always feel like they were handled in a consistently supportive way.
