      This use to be a good place to work but the new leadership that was brought in a year ago micro manages every department and doesn’t know what is going on, talks down to staff and says rude things to them in meetings in front of everyone. It is a nightmare and I feel sorry for the people still there, They are just holding on until they find a better job.

      Pros

      There is fulfillment from helping patients regain independence after injury or illness. Encompass Health promotes diversity and inclusion. There is a good work life balance. Wide range of benefits. An overall positive work environment!

      Cons

      Encompass could recognize more holidays for employees as well compensate salaries to match cost-of-living for the area better.

      Like any job in healthcare right now it’s a demanding job but the culture at encompass really does make a difference.
