      Pros

      Wage for RNs compared to other hospitals in the area is comparable Beautiful facility. Necessary equipment is available for patient care

      Benefits are lacking Takes forever to generate any time off benefits as all benefits come out of one pot, including bereavement, sick, and vacation. RN to pt ratios are excessively challenging when rehab is intermixed with nursing, and little to no adjustments are made to accommodate patients. acuity. and needs The C-Suite level is inexperienced and is rarely seen on the nursing floor. Little support is provided to nurses by this level of management.

      Pros

      There is fulfillment from helping patients regain independence after injury or illness. Encompass Health promotes diversity and inclusion. There is a good work life balance. Wide range of benefits. An overall positive work environment!

      Encompass could recognize more holidays for employees as well compensate salaries to match cost-of-living for the area better.
