Poor compensation for pre-clinical/pre-ipo company - Research Scientist Encoded Therapeutics Employee Review

Poor compensation, extreme lack of equity distribution to employees. Literally giving out options packages that are worth basically nothing and salary does not make of for it. Poor company direction. Unlikely to succeed. I would suggest looking elsewhere, you would expect a company of this size and stage to make up for it's short comings with an options package that can give you a chance at profiting from the low probability of success, but they fail to do so at every chance and the leadership team is completely oblivious to both the issue with compensation and the science, work, and strategy that is necessary to make the company a success.
