Working at Enclosed enabled to see all sides of a start-up. I gained hands-on experience in developing social media strategy and overseeing Enclosed's marketing rollout. The CEO has been running the business without senior executive assistance for several years. She is used to doing things "her way" and doesn't always seem receptive to different solutions. She micromanages and isn't used to managing by outcomes. She manages actual process, even if it isn't optimum. When she learns how to delegate at a senior level, she will be a great CEO. If you are applying as an executive, probe for how you would be managed and evaluated.
