Pros
Fellow employees were awesome. Still in contact with a few I met there (Most have moved on to other companies). Free coffee was always fantastic
Cons
There is a laundry list of problems for this company. The head developer, while extremely smart, is very proud and not very forward thinking, preferring more inefficient older styles to newer, more efficient practices. The codebase is a mass of band-aid fixes slapped in place that usually break something else. Massive known security flaws that are just ignores flat out. There is often a lack of direction and everything you write is challenged and often changed with no discussion as to why you did something a particular way. While a lot of the employees are awesome, there are clear favorites that get away with doing anything they please, a lot of which I saw other employees get let go instantly for. There was significant tension between the design team and development team due ro conflicting visions with no real guidance. The turnover is higher than the Empire State building, with people being let go with no warning.
