Pros

Decent base pay for the industry and area

Cons

My time at my Remedy branch and with Employbridge in general was one of the worst career experiences I have ever had. I watched high levels of turnover, favoritism and lack of management poison the company and my ability to receive training, development and direction. I survived multiple rounds of layoffs that resulted in just additional work being handed off to recruiters - “Do more with less” became the vision. No merit raises were given during my time there and there were clearly no plans for increases into 2025. I constantly worked over 40 hour weeks, making a work/life balance difficult to achieve. Employbridge views recruiters as bodies in an office, just like recruiters are taught to view candidates as bodies to fill openings. I stayed to gain my experience to put on my resume, but in general if you are not in senior management already, you won’t get there unless someone quits or you know someone at the top. Toxic, draining and overall a terrible company to be associated with.

Pros

Good base salary, a lot of resources, and other BDMs are very supportive and willing to help new BDMs

Cons

So much of your success depends on the Operations and Recruiting team. You can do your job and get the sale, but if your recruitment team does not do a good job filling the orders or they have a lot of turnover, all of your hard work is for nothing basically. In my experience leadership for whatever reason will do the bare minimum to address issues with the recruiters and you will likely not have a meaningful solution to the problem.
