Pros

We have a cool product and if we positioned it right and actually paid attention to the market we could win big deals.

Cons

This place is a sinking ship, and the captain, our CRO, is nowhere to be found when you need him. It's like having a leader who's more interested in playing vacation planner than steering the company in the right direction. Our CRO is a smooth talker, for sure. But when it comes to action, he's all talk and no work. He claims on company-wide meetings that he calls simply to talk about how great he is, that he is a phone call away, but he goes weeks to months without responding to team members or CUSTOMERS. He’s busy globetrotting on the company dime with his family. It's frustrating to see someone at the top doing everything but leading. The GTM team is bleeding talent faster than we could ever backfill, and no one wants to work at a place this toxic. Thanks to the CRO's antics, everyone's looking for a way out. The team he has built around him enables his behavior of pushing away anyone wise to the game just to protect their job. Considering joining this company? Save yourself the headache. The CRO is pushing out anyone who smells the smoke and driving this business into the ground.

Pros

- Fully remote (if you like that sort of thing) - Unlimited PTO that you really can use (at least in my department) - Mostly good people to work with - The product genuinely isn't bad, compared to its peers

Cons

- Constant layoffs. Nearly every quarter. General sense of dread there. - They'll sell you on a bonus but then never deliver any of it. - Lacking a cohesive vision for what they want to do/be - Atmosphere got very political in recent years. - Broadly, feels like the company is treading water, trying to keep afloat as long as possible. Got a billion-dollar valuation several years ago, but it feels like an albatross now.
