Pros

Empify’s mission to promote financial literacy is inspiring. Passionate team

Cons

very chaotic work environment with unclear processes and priorities. Poor communication and lack of timely support Long hours and last-minute demands without proper recognition aka no work-life balance whatsoever because CEO doesn't believe in it! CEO is very rude and demeaning, showing little regard for employees' well-being. No room for suggestions; rigid SOPs dictate everything. Unrealistic expectations, combining multiple roles into one and blaming employees for struggling to keep up. No clear paths for growth or professional development.

Pros

You see the impact of your work every single day, and that’s rare. The culture is rooted in purpose, excellence, and service. You are encouraged to think big, use your voice, and grow in ways that stretch your confidence and leadership. The work we do matters. We help real people with real financial challenges, and that keeps you grounded and inspired. The team is passionate, hardworking, and aligned around a shared mission. Welcoming office in a great building in ATL

Cons

The work is hard. There’s no way around that. We are building something unique and meaningful, and that takes endurance, patience, and adaptability. With fast growth comes long hours, evolving systems, and a lot of moving parts. It can be intense at times, but you learn so much in the process. It's challenging, but rewarding.

Pros

Great company “mission” overall. Some cool personalities.

Cons

Honestly, there are legitimately more cons than positives. If you’re looking for career growth this is not the place. You will be underpaid or even demoted simply because the CEO or whoever’s consulting her back peddled on the role you were originally given. Several ethical red flags with the CEO spreading team members’ personal issues out in the open in the office. I’ve witnessed multiple situations where the CEO has verbally berated her assistants in front the of the entire team. There’s no checks and balances. You might be attracted by the outside PR that you see, but it’s all a guise. You’ll be working under and insecure person that will literally take personal information you’ve told her and use it against you like scheduling meetings or events over times you’ve specifically said you’re unavailable for family/personal reasons. Even making meetings over someone’s personal time so they can go to them gym. I’ve watched so many people be psychologically drained after starting here. Oh, and if you’re new your “90 days” is honestly close to corporate hazing. I honestly wish I was exaggerating but unfortunately it’s even worse than what I can describe here.
