Pros

Very international and friendly team, you'd be working with a bunch of exceptionally talented and motivated people. Rather competitive salaries for Italy (may vary based on role and seniority of course). The company also cares about providing many perks and benefits to the staff - healthy meals and snacks when in the office, health insurance, wellness subscription (Wellhub = ex Gympass), etc. English is the business language so very expat-friendly. Tons of social events - some organized by the company, some spontaneously by the staff directly, so if you are new in town, it's a great company to work for, people are very friendly and active.

Cons

Somewhat inconsistent company vision leading to hectic and often conflicting initiatives, occasional lack of transparency from management on important issues. No clear growth perspectives, growth plans were treated merely as a formality, same goes for performance reviews.

Pros

Empatica is truly committed to advancing technology in the interest of improved patient outcomes. It is rare to find a multinational team that is so consistently supportive, collaborative, and aligned on mission and purpose. Definitely a place for young stars to shine.

Cons

Market headwinds have made for some challenging times across all of digital health, so the company has had to adapt and has gone through some organizational shifts over the past couple of years.

Pros

Empatica does an amazing job of hiring individuals who work well together and really enjoy one another - a group of thoughtful, fun, and smart people, working toward building technology to improve healthcare. Plus excellent coffee and an annual retreat to Sardinia!

Cons

There are still some growing pains as the company scales, but they are increasingly bringing in more senior management to improve decision making and organizational structure.
