Unfortunately, leadership seems to only value intellectuals and academics. Many of whom know nothing about managing people or best practices. Sadly, they don’t listen to the people with boots on the ground who actually do the work. There has been tons of turn over this year, likely because many are sick of seeing incompetent people be promoted. It is full of red tape and nepotism. The culture can be toxic, everything is treated like an emergency.
