Pros

Friendly coworkers, working for an organization with a nationally recognized name that you can put on your resume and basically get a job anywhere, moderately easy to move up in your position, a few friendly supervisors, great for people who are going back to school or working a second job.

Cons

Department too big to really form bonds with coworkers unless you've been there for years, horrible scheduling, no work/life balance (you will have no life other than school and work or just work), some pharmacists and nurses act as though they are God (you will be punished for sticking up for yourself. it's best to just remain cordial with everyone no matter how much you all don't get along), some supervisors are insensitive.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Leadership needs significant improvement. Promotions often appear to be based more on personal relationships than on experience, qualifications, or selecting the best candidate for the position. Leadership also fails to adequately address bullying and toxic workplace behavior, allowing it to continue unchecked. As a result, many locations feel disorganized and chaotic due to inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
