Pros

Fair pay for easy, repetitive duties

Cons

Was promised a $500 bonus after 90 days by adecco for 3rd shift (2nd shift $250) but 7 months later they finally email back requiring screenshot proof of the promise to pay the bonus which i no longer have as well as informing that it is only paid for 90 days of PERFECT attendance, which was never said. Also, they promise hire-in after 90 days but 7 months later I'm still waiting and was just told it would be another month or two. Mandatory Saturdays totaling 48 hours each week. I was told COVID absences wouldn't be held against me for attendance, but they are. Poor communication, especially with temps. Allowed 18 points (a point per hour missed but 1 min tardy costs 1 point as well) the first 90 days and 6 points per month thereafter until hire in, which is the equivalent as 18 per 90. But they do not explain that until you ask, which many times is too late. Probably since it would prove that the hire-in after three months statement is a lie just like the bonus.

Pros

Great immediate supervisor and their boss. Made top-down communications tolerable. Great co-workers and great collaboration that lifted the entire team.

Cons

(1) RIF based on tenure, not performance. HR is too powerful a department, and everyone fears it. (2) Tenure made you lazy, killed creativity, initiative, and promoted a "yes" culture. (3) During COVID layoffs, CEO pay went from $3.7 million to $15.x million, while employees endured 25% furloughs for 3 months, and management 10% reduction in pay for 6 months - explain how that is reasonable. (4) CEO declared DEI as the way forward for career mobility, and a lot of young, promising talent walked out the door, including DEI-qualified minorities. (5) I was one of those minorities.
