Pros
Emergency Reporting is fantastic to work for. I've been here for about 2 and a half years now. I started working here as an intern from a local college and was hired before my internship was even complete. I was quickly given many great opportunities that lead me to the position I am in now. The people here are wonderful, everybody is super friendly and outgoing. The company supplies coffee, espresso, tea, sodas, sparkling water, snacks, and other items to keep us in tiptop shape to work happily and proficiently. There are many opportunities here between projects, personal growth and career opportunity. The location is great, we are moving soon and the new location is also great! The owners and CEO really try hard to make sure the culture of the company stays upbeat, happy, and productive! This is my first "big leagues" job being right out of college so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but if things stay as welcoming as they have been hopefully I wont have to!
Cons
Biggest downside currently, which is being worked on by management and a few special project teams, is communication between departments. Lots of valuable time for certain projects has been lost with meetings that happened, but no action was taken from them. Nobody likes sitting in on a meeting that is all bark and no chase. There were a few struggles with senior management when they first joined too, but things have been getting much better as of recent. I can very much understand too, transitioning from much larger fast paced companies can be difficult when you join a smaller growing company and really push for excellence.
