Pros

The clinical training I have received at Emerge has been nothing short of exceptional. As a multi-disciplinary psychology practice, training is focused on the application of behavior analysis with clients with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Their model of supervision provides consistent access to support with clinical caseloads and ongoing professional development to all levels of ABA staff (including RBTs). I highly recommend pursuing BACB supervision/experience hours with Emerge for clinicians who are looking to expand their knowledge and experience outside of the traditional ASD/ABA box.

Cons

Similar to other small companies there can be periods of growning pains. Having positive stress tolerance skills, as well as utilizing the well-developed supervision structure, can be helpful during these times.

Pros

The clinical team is so amazing and truly top tier when it comes to quality and community. The training is very thorough and there is always room is ask questions or ask for more training whenever you need it. Feedback is really constructive and it's easy to see that the team cares about your professional growth and becoming the best you can be. Supervisors were readily available or had a plan if they knew they would be unavailable during a time you might need them. I've always felt very supported by the ABA team. Also, the head of the company is absolutely an expert in her field and so incredibly compassionate; it's nice to know that your boss is just as committed to producing high quality herapy for individuals suffering from mental illness / developmental disorders as you are.

Cons

The admin team is small right now which could affect caseloads in ABA; there aren't really things that come to mind when I think of how the company is run and how people are treated.
