Pros

Center City location, if you need a great way to grab a quick $500-$1000 before being unceremoniously dumped. Nothing, and I mean nothing else to recommend.

Cons

I worked here for six days before I was escorted out. The day I started, my, I guess he was my "superior" (who knows what title anyone has here) was shown the door. Thing is folks, there are three main players, two semi-players, a receptionist and eight people who did what I did, an office of 14 people. There had been no one that did my job who had been there for longer than three weeks the day I started. They have a quota which is extraordinarily hard to achieve, and, without question, you get thrown out with the trash even before your last day of the weekly quota. I confirmed with someone who was still there, that three others were out before the weeks end. That's a turnover of five people in less than two weeks, in an office of 14. So, if that's not enough to make you question this "firm", you think you'll rise above the fray, how's this? The BS group meeting with the owner, because of high turnover, where we all introduce ourselves. The obligatory "I feel great about this team" speech, when he knows that when he repeats the meeting in two weeks, 50-75% won’t still be there. You'll never speak to him again; he doesn't make eye contact with anyone. By his admission, he's a "salesman", not a tax preparer. Strange that, a salesman who can't make eye contact. Guilty conscious much? How about a $5 contest. Yes, a whole $5 if you win, with a chance to play a putt-putt game for double or nothing. High stakes. Fun. How about a collection to buy a Keurig machine. Yes, they are too cheap to supply one. How about dead, and I mean real dead leads all day, PO'ed people who are pounded by us and others companies like EPO'C. I'm convinced old leads are recycled as new. How about the questionability of what's done there. Must be legal, but who knows how legal. Soon, and it can't be soon enough, companies like this and collection agency's harassing people will be a thing of the past.

Pros

I enjoy my paycheck. The often morale boosting and inspirational meetings. I also enjoy my supervisors and colleagues. I see reviews that are written by some past employees and can tell they just were not cut out for this job and were hurt by being let go. The reason I know is because I work here. There is no reason to lie just say what you didn't like about working here don't make stuff up.

Cons

Stressful at times but no more than any other job.

Pros

Family atmosphere. Passionate about the customer and the work they do for them. Day time business hours. Weekends off. Hourly pay plus commission. Simple commission plan with respectable percentage.

Cons

Sometimes hours are cut if sales numbers aren't satisfactory. Sometimes sales can be missed because of only having one leader handle both all sales and taxes and not having more than one closer.
