Pros

-Attending events (many high level) was a great experience -You are able to make so many connections in the area that will help you throughout your career -The clients are kind and fun to work with -Flexible schedule & work life balance

Cons

-Pay is JOKE. You are misled to believe you will make great commission, but in reality you won't. Also if clients don't pay, you don't get paid -The CEO will yell at employees all day, even publicly. CEO drives prospects away, and several clients drop. Regardless of your work, you will not be appreciated and you will not be compensated -Micromanaged -Over promise, under deliver to clients -Company is a joke in the community -Employees are constantly leaving, never staying more than a few months -No benefits, insurance, 401k, etc.

Pros

+Remote work +Can use this job as a stepping stone for new, better jobs so long as you don't get comfortable. +Operational team is what gets you through every day. Truly a group of good people wanting to make a difference.

Cons

+CEO doesn't believe in the pandemic and is willing to risk the health of his employees and community members by forcing in-person meetings and events. + CEO can sell ice to a penguin, often selling you on what you'll get or what you'll make even though you won't see half of those benefits. + CEO will not allow you to use the unlimited PTO policy. He will tell you that you have the right to request, but he has the right to deny even if your work is done and events are covered. +No room for growth. Be prepared to be screamed at if you ask for raise or want a formal performance review. +CEO has ZERO leadership skills which is shocking considering he holds many high-profile board seats in the community. +Do not expect a thank you of any sort or appreciation for the work you do. +Turnover is insanely high - just search all of the employee skeletons on Twitter to see how many employees this young company has had over the past 12 years. + Be prepared to switch job functions consistently and without any formal notice or documentation. One moment you're working in the area you were hired to, the next you're doing someone else's job just because he wants. + You will be micromanaged and expected to copy the CEO on each and every email you send. + No interest in improving services to increase client retention.
