Pros

You get to use your wide range of skills and also can be certified for prenatal, cupping and hot stone massage as well as aroma therapy. Co-workers were pleasant and fun to work with. Company has added perks such as a 401K. The owners Mike and Elaine are respectful and use their power of authority with great honor and wisdom.

Cons

Clients come from a variety of backgrounds so you must know your modalities and be flexible. Listen to the needs first and communicate well. This would only be a con for a therapist that gets stuck on doing only one style of massage.

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere overall, and most employees tend to stay focused on their own work. Therapists are paid hourly when there are gaps in bookings, depending on schedule availability. The franchise owners seemed to genuinely care and did their best to keep the business running smoothly.

Cons

Compensation structure can feel inconsistent when client volume is low. In my experience, workplace communication and management style created stress that affected team dynamics and overall morale. I sometimes felt uncomfortable in the environment and ultimately decided it wasn’t the right long-term fit for me professionally. Since leaving, I’ve found a workplace that aligns better with my goals and values.
