Pros

I've been employed with Element Risk for the past three years, but I will be leaving at the end of 2025 as I've started my own business (unrelated to the industry). I'll share some insight on the nitty-gritty, day-to-day aspects, but what's most important to me as an employee is: "How can this employer improve my life in and out of the office?" Element provides a flexible, lighthearted work environment full of great resources and wonderful people. I was encouraged to learn and grow—not only as an IT professional but also as a teammate and friend. I'm leaving Element with more than a handful of relationships that will carry on for years to come. Most importantly, as a direct result of my employment with Element, I was able to afford a wedding, a new truck, and a new home where we will welcome our daughter in just a few short weeks. It's a cliché, but to me, that feels like the American Dream! At Element, a positive mindset, a can-do attitude, and a selfless approach will take you far—it certainly helped me. Upper management is constantly building up employees and is ready and willing to support individuals who want to advance in their careers. "The sky is the limit" couldn't be more true.

Cons

Nothing I can think of.

Pros

The team is a great support, helping you learn, enjoy the immediate environment you work in, and always have a "Family" feeling.

Cons

The changes never stop. We were fully staffed and in a good work flow environment for maybe 5 months in the last 3 years. Anytime someone leaves, every process collapses into ciaos. The company is not prepared with a plan, no matter how many times it happens, even if they say they are. The owners and managers don't seem to look at where they're stepping before they jump in headfirst to changes, and then they throw 10 at you all at once and get upset when you say you're overwhelmed and can't keep up.
