Saw some older folks work really long hours too, not just the junior people / interns -Element makes money by having superior traders, not by having superior tech. So the tech team doesn't seem to be treated as well, and there was high turnover. -on a related note, because tech isn't a high priority, their tech infrastructure wasn't as high quality as one might find at a tech company. But it was at least better than most finance firms, but that's because most finance firms have terrible tech built internally.
