And that is so true - that's the biggest Pro about working at EKM.  Each team is passionate about contributing to the success of the company. The friendly and fun atmosphere includes slides, pool tables and a fully equipped gym making the office feel like home from home.  The work itself allows me to be creative and explore skills I didnt realise I had. My role is diverse and offers a variety of duties that keep me motivated and constantly evolving.  For the first time in my 20 years of working - i feel like I am in the right place at the right time.... I am here to stay! A big Pro for EKM is the senior management team who have a very unique gift in being able to identify who are the right people for the company. If you are lucky enough to be offered a job with EKM - consider yourself blessed!!!

There are always "cons" in any environment but at ekm.com cons are normally consider an opportunity to make things better. When you work with a mindset like that - you wont find any cons.

Great location and even better-looking office.

Don't expect any competitive salary here at all. In fact, EKM is far below the current salary market in tech. This is mostly because you are working in one of the best-looking offices in Lancashire with free soft drinks, food and games console so if you don't mind having less paid but are in a nice environment then it's for you. EKM has a flat organizational hierarchy. This means that there is no progressive plan for you to follow in your role. In fact, you have to ask for it yourself but be prepared for a backfire unless you got something or 'someone' to back you up. This is normal for a small competitive company. They are NOT agile even though they claim they are. I worked on the top floor in the tech department. They said that they follow an Agile SCRUM method of working but really, they don't. I haven't seen a single SCRUM master or Product Owner at all. Just that they work in the 2-week sprint.
