Pros
I'll be as clear as I can be.
I've been at Eight Eleven for 8 years and here's what I've found:
The people/peers:
I can't think of a day I haven't laughed or felt some love for my peers/co-workers/friends at the company. I'm proud of my HQ team and everyone that interacts with us.
The Leadership:
The leadership listens to you. They are busy. But they will always make time for you even if you come to not like your current role. They are flexibile, approchable, and reasonable. I know all of them, and I'm not yet one of them.
They say people don't quit their jobs, they quit their managers. I believe that. We have A LOT of gifted managers here. I am not a manager, but that is one of the main reasons people have stayed for so long and our why Eight Eleven has one of the best retention rates in the industry. They know how to hire, inspire, and grow people with their given skillsets.
Bottom line:
You can bet on Eight Eleven's ability to communicate, adapt, evolve, and grow with anything you throw at us.
Cons
I personally think there are very few cons to this company if you take the time to ask the leaders and peers "why" they are/act the way they do. This job/company isn't for everyone, but it's definitely for me.
Diversity and Inclusion is top of mind for cons... but as a current emolyee, I've never felt so confident in Eight Eleven's ability to evolve to get my 5 star rating on diversity and inclusion. They are working every day on this and have dedicated resources to improve DEI in the workplace.
