You will travel a lot! Mainly to India and Nepal, at first it was amazing but after sometime it got tiring.

Gives you a reason to wake up every morning with purpose. Effect.org has a unique model in the nonprofit space where it leverages technology and data to perform high functioning schools across (currently) India. Additionally it's expeditions program is a nice touch to network with a lot of incredible people and make more impact. Lots of travel.

At this organization you travel a lot and the work hours aren't always 9-5. Since most of our partners are across the world you have to be willing to work some weird hours. But it's not everyday.
