Edufront has been functioning for the past six years and has invested over USD 30 million in India to develop various components of the Digital Learning Ecosystem (DLE). It has supported 50 K-12 schools across multiple states, including Jammu, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, and has now started projects in Bihar as well. Its offerings have consistently produced world-class learning outcomes. Some of our students have even topped U.S. examinations. The reviewer was clearly a wrong hire. He was assigned responsibility for one school, which he absolutely mishandled. He was envious of his competent colleagues and was unable to complete any assignment at the expected level of quality. He was full of bravado, claiming he could do many things, but failed to deliver on his commitments. The company gave him multiple opportunities to be productive, but he consistently failed both himself and the organization. As per the terms of his contract, he still owes more than ₹1 lakh, and he left without providing any forwarding address.

Pros

Its a startup and you have ample opportunities to learn everyday. A great place to be mentored. Expectation is to live up to the promises you make. Its a place to do good while still earning like we were working in a successful organization, But its not a place for those who just want a job without any ambitions to learn and contribute. Its funded by family office and some investors and its supporting dozens of schools with more than 20 thousand students getting readier for the future.

Cons

I heard many stories of people complaining about a paper appointment letter in a digital age where they sign their agreement on Docusign! I saw people not coming on time, not achieving any of their weekly and monthly targets by a mile and still expected to get paid and they all were paid as per HR policies and norms in very transparent way. The challenge has been those who performed the least made the most noise.

The role of the HR manager is to manage the existing policies and systems in place, create what may be missing, and continuously raise the bar in everything the company does. Every manager is responsible for contributing something positive. It would have been much more helpful if the reviewer had followed the same principle—being constructive while also creating systems, processes, and examples that she would like to consider “pro.”
