Pros

Easy going office atmosphere, albeit not bright enough Friendly people, but be use to one reeking of cigarettes Hired me from an agency, so they allow temp-to-hire people, which is great.

Cons

Unstructured office. No one knows the hierarchy of people's places. Absent CEO. He will randomly disappear when problems arise. There's not a set training manual. The one person that friend to create one left.

Pros

EdTech Software provides a positive team-supportive environment where staff is encouraged to collaborate and personal success is supported by all members like a family. EdTech's leadership team is always open to new ideas and encourages input from all members of the staff. Through collaborations and stand-ups, we are able to clearly communicate our work volume for the day/week and if necessary request any support or assistance with tasks. The uniqueness of all the team members is what truly bonds this group, every piece of the puzzle is adaptable and fits.

Cons

Truly, there are not any negatives for my role at EdTech Software, we have a roadmap for development that is clear and precise.

Pros

-Great place for self starters -No helicopter bosses always hoovering over you -Flexible with doctor/personal appointments -Family environment where employees truly care about your well being. I have never worked at a place where someones birthday was such an event! -Start up, so your ideas are valued. You can actually have a voice with how the company should be formed. It is not just swept under the rug once you voice your opinion. -You get a good feel for every department since the company is smaller. You sit next to every other department, so you get good insight with what they are working on and how it affects you. -There are processes in place to complete tasks, but there is also room for flexibility. The company is always looking for ways to improve efficiency, so if you can come up with a better way, they are always open to it. -Regular check ins where they not only ask about work related topics, but also how your doing outside of work. Work is always work, but it's nice to know that they do actually care about you as a person. -Decent benefits -AWESOME team environment. I haven't worked at a place where when someone says "good morning" they actually mean it. People are genuinely invested in each others lives. Overall I love working here, and can honestly say I wake up ready to come to work each day.

Cons

-I live to far away from the office. Not the companies fault, just personal.
