Pros

Your mental health will probably get better once you leave...

Cons

I've never worked at a company where I've seen so many employees breakdown and cry. Managers in my dept. seemed obsessed with having power over subordinates: managers purposely called employees by the wrong name, referenced personal matters such as religion, and micromanaged to an extreme (employees were forced to acknowledge a work chat/IM which often focused on non-work related matters). Fear of termination seemed to be a source of enjoyment for some managers; gaslighting was often used as a lead-up to an employee being let go and celebration meetings at times followed terminations. An analogy of "Games of Thrones" was given. Some mangers seemed obsessed with employee's personal lives and having employees know about their personal lives (at one point a video of a manager doing push-ups was shared on a work chat). Actual work performance was very rarely discussed. HR was terrible. They seemed to care about protecting the organization, rather than the employees' well-being, which contributes to productivity and the student experience. Emails were ignored, forms seemed to be neglected at times, and practices seemed unprofessional, if not unethical. The work life balance was not good, compared to other organizations in the area. Employees were expected to work late nights at times, with late notice given for weekend work requirements.Weekend work was not attended by all managers, with front facing employees being required to attend. Pay was low for the greater Seattle area. A LOT of the reviewed on here don't seem to be from professional full-time employees.
