Cons

Edgematics has all the cons of a small organization without any pros. 1. Complete unpredictability in processes. Any process or policy can change at any point of time without prior intimation. 2. Employees are required to spend on onsite travel from their own pocket. Reimbursement is often delayed - sometimes by 3 months or more. 3. Annual cycle is February - January but last year salary hike happened in August. This year it's July so far but there's no discussion around pay hikes. 4. Work is never ending and 12 hour days and 7 day weeks are common. I have never been able to take off without being called by my manager for work related matters. 5. Salaries are lower than market standard and management is quite stingy. Employees who have served 2 years are eligible for loyalty bonus but that loyalty bonus is taken away if the employee leaves even 6 months later. 6. There is rampant favoritism and the boss gives out of turn benefits and salary hikes to his favorites.
