Thrown into the role, then thrown out - Customer Service Associate Edge (CA) Employee Review

Pros

The company offers support and provides you with all the necessary equipment to work from home. It includes full benefits according to the law.

Cons

The equipment provided is outdated and often unfit for the actual tasks required. The “support” they promise during onboarding disappears the moment you start working with the client. There is no structured onboarding, no follow-up, and absolutely no communication from the employer once you’re placed. Worse, there is no direct or clear channel of communication between the client and the employer. When something happens—like a dismissal during the probation period—Edge managers are completely out of the loop. Despite claiming to have internal protocols, they are not followed. There is no mediation, no supervision, and no real support for the employee during the onboarding process. You’re essentially on your own. And yet, you are expected to report every second of your internet connection and power supply as if you had a full support system behind you. It's a one-sided relationship, where responsibility flows only in one direction—towards the worker.

Might be too chaotic and fast paced for some who have not worked with start-ups before. I enjoy being challenged everyday.

Pros

Everything is smoothly explained and have a lot of material to prepare, no pression or absurd test in the training and really good compensation, over the market rate.

Cons

You are required to have patience. Since a lot of people is involved on the selection, training, interviews and onboarding you can expect to not hearing from them for a couple of days and them need to rush to have all done in order to start with the client.
