Pros

Super-strong growth -- even during pandemic. Leadership transparent, supportive, accessible. Everyone here "walk the talk" in terms of the stated corporate values. Asking questions, making suggestions is welcome between all levels -- and people do it without fear. Incredibly respectful and collegial. . Companies say they "care about our employees." EFE proves it. Example: the week before Thanksgiving, out of the blue, we get an email from Larry, our CEO, sayin"You've all worked so hard and done such a great job -- please take all of Thanksgiving week off!" (imagine what that costs a large organization?) I have many years of experience consulted for and or working on staff with a wide range of leading international corporations -- including a number of the most recognizable "names" in the financial space. I don't know how Edelman Financial Engines has created this culture but someone should analyze in an MBA thesis. Company has been highly profitable, is growing at a great clip and that momentum does not show any signs of slowing.

Cons

Not the highest paying . But money really isn't everything.

Pros

- Great team from department head down - Collaboration is encouraged - Self-starter culture with good room for side projects - "See something, say something" approach allows questioning methodology without a feeling of personal attacks or "dumb questions" and enables team members to support each other in a safe environment - Work from home

Cons

- Executive leadership does not know what they want - Consistent turnover in C-Suite leads to departments acting like small internal companies rather than part of a larger system - Limited permission access for team members means that any absence or time-off can lead to a backlog of deployments
