Pros

I've only been here for about a month, but so far I love it! After being offered the position, I was sent a care package with Financial Engines paraphernalia along with a $100 gift card. That is unheard of! I was floored and so appreciative. The benefits are absolutely amazing. I've never had health care coverage that was so thorough and I have worked for three large financial institutions. They pay for practically everything and out-of-pockets costs are minimal. Work life balance so far has been very good, although I can imagine that the summer months are a little slower than others. Even if there will have to be longer days in the future, I'm sure it will be manageable. From what I have heard they are working on providing additional career opportunities for CSMs, which will be great. I'm so excited for the future of the company and am happy that I started when I did!

Cons

None as of yet, they've been great so far.

Pros

- Great team from department head down - Collaboration is encouraged - Self-starter culture with good room for side projects - "See something, say something" approach allows questioning methodology without a feeling of personal attacks or "dumb questions" and enables team members to support each other in a safe environment - Work from home

Cons

- Executive leadership does not know what they want - Consistent turnover in C-Suite leads to departments acting like small internal companies rather than part of a larger system - Limited permission access for team members means that any absence or time-off can lead to a backlog of deployments
