Pros
A big multinational from France. In North America, it is a small team with a solid client base. Opportunity to manage many facets of the infrastructure. Growing company that could have opportunities for moving from one country to another throughout their different data-centers. Fairly professional IT culture, and exposure to methods and applications that are less common in the anglosphere.
Cons
Company has an insulated culture. It is basically like working in Paris. If you are Canadian, you are second class. No matter the technical issue, the blame goes to the Canadians, in part because the visas of the French are dependent on their job. There is little to no comprehension of the anglophone market. Parisian standards are expected, in conflict with french bill 101 in Quebec. Parisian English is considered a working language but is generally incomprehensible in North America.
