Pros
There are none. The whole experience was awful.
Cons
The idea of Ecopool is a good one. I'm a strong supporter in doing better with resources, but once the containers are delivered that's where the eco-friendly side of things stops. The waste that I witnessed was beyond belief and the lack of training provided to every employee made me question if the company is designed to fail on purpose. Fear is the driving factor for any motivation here. I once watched 10 people get let go within 3 weeks of being hired after not performing to standard. Problem was that they were provided two days of training and told to figure it out from there. The only written standard was a single page with a few bullets. Nothing more. No one called them, they just cut off their phones and removed rights to their emails. This was right after the Christmas holiday too. Pay at this place should be illegal too. If you don't make enough outbound calls then you may be facing being fired. 60 calls or don't stop calling. Been at it since 8am and it's 730pm too bad keep going or lose the $500 draw for the week. I made more as a telemarketer when I was a teenager. They also do not care about their customers or dealers. They make the purchaser sign a contract that pretty much absolves Ecopool from any responsibilities if anything goes wrong with their pool. The dealer and clients either have to figure out the way to fix any issue themselves or pay Ecopool more to fix a product that was produced substandard to begin with. Finally, this is not a large company but Jason Herring, who I think is the Operations Manager or sits on the board, makes all decisions about your career, but presents himself as too important to take 5 minutes after you're hired to make a formal introduction. I worked there over half a year and never once met the master of my fate. This was such a horrible experience I wouldn't recommend this job to my worst enemy. Run from Ecopool. There is another job out there that will at least respect you as a person and provide minimum training. McDonald's will pay you more too.
