      There are many available trainings open to all employees. Staff is great and eager to help clients. Great experience in behavioral health field. Easy to change departments.

      Cons

      Mentally exhausting work with low pay. Inconsistent work completed/rules followed by employees. Lack of consistent/basic training for new hires.

      Pros

      Meaningful work. Working for Ecker makes me feel like I am contributing to something bigger than myself, and seeing how our services positively impact individuals in our community is a fulfilling experience. Amazing people. It takes a special kind of person to work in this field, and it shows in their character, work ethic, and commitment to helping others. LOTS of training opportunities. From nonviolent crisis intervention to cultural awareness and everything in between.
