Pros

Working for Ebenezer (Deer Crest) at the Red Wing, MN branch has taught me how to not just do my job with care, but with full compassion. Every time i walk into Deer Crest, the warm welcome of our beautiful receptionist and the sweet residents that sit on the porch or at the library area makes this company the most trusted, soul-warming, empathetic, loved place to be a part of. Although not everyone is perfect, the assisted living department team and i would do everything that we can to help one another and most importantly touch base on what we need to work on as a team to do better. We encouraged each other to reach our highest potential even if it means leaving the company to better provided for ourselves. Benefits about working with Ebenezer Deer Crest is they are willing to provide scholarships to any employee who is eligible and interested in the Nursing program. They will pay for everything! You also have options like Dental, Medical, 401k. (Make sure you do apply for them because you do have a certain amount of time before those benefits cancel) Working in the Assisted living area, at late March of 2018 i was previously employed at Deer crest, we were in charge of giving cares and administering medications to 2 floors. A person on the (5-9) shift would come in to help Med Aides and assist with residents. Work flow is certainly smooth sailing and your team members of your shift are always willing to help if you need help with something. (Tip: Don't be afraid to always ask questions if you are unsure. ALWAYS)
