Pros

Great work life balance, awesome friendly coworkers. Manage to make a large company feel very small and personal - spoke with the CEO and many SVP and portfolio managers on a multiple occasion. Eaton Vance really lived up to the whole "no one was too big for one job" mentality

Cons

Very low glass ceiling. If you don't fit their perfect cookie cutter idea of how women should walk, talk and act than you are going no where fast. It pains me to say that if I were a guy I would still be employed at Eaton Vance and steadily moving up the ladder one rung at a time

Pros

Enjoyed a hybrid work schedule with 1 day in the office. Had opportunity for professional development including collaborating on projects with senior staff and leading small scale initiatives. Direct management offered great leadership and valued my input and saw me as a human.

Cons

Corporate culture in the financial industry
