Pros

Great people, good benefits, good training and management (direct managers, not upper)

Cons

A lot of changes during my tenure which certainly can make employees feel uneasy. My whole department was shifted to one of the subsidiaries as part of a reorganization of the company’s products which was a big undertaking in itself. Less than a year later the whole company was sold to Morgan Stanley, during the pandemic I might add. It may have been good for shareholders, but hard to see the good for employees. I foresee more changes ahead that may not be beneficial to employees. I already feel like we have lost that small company vibe that we had when I started at the company.

Pros

Enjoyed a hybrid work schedule with 1 day in the office. Had opportunity for professional development including collaborating on projects with senior staff and leading small scale initiatives. Direct management offered great leadership and valued my input and saw me as a human.

Cons

Corporate culture in the financial industry
