Work life balance, some people are allowed to work from home.

Management has a boys club and if you aren’t in it you are nobody. Hire and promote friends and hold back others from promotions. Shows favouritism on who can work from home. Talk about cross training during interview and offer none, one year they performed employee reviews without the employees (Managers got together without the person being reviewed). After applying for an internal promotion you get ghosted and they don't explain why you didn't get the promotion.

Starting wage was decent Co-workers were great and friendly There are probably more pros, but the negatives overshadow the positives.

Lack of viable work experience for an engineering graduate. Management did not show much support for career progression despite claims during interview. No formal career progression plan was ever produced tk help acquire P.Eng status. Management talked poorly of former employees openly in front of other staff and employees. Upper management would sometimes talk with a condensending tone and comes across as arrogant. Poor planning for projects led to last minute notice of working extra hours and/or long road trips for field work. Office space lacks any welcoming decor and very bland. Upper management barely made any effort to get to know lower level employees on a more personal level. Always felt there was a divide as a result.
