Pros
The security world is fascinating, and after working here, I learned a lot. I learned much from my peers and the vendors I communicated with daily. There's free food every Tuesday and Thursday. Eagle Eye Networks also started a 401k as a perk for all their employees, which didn't happen before.
Cons
BYOL - Bring your own laptop. Eagle Eye Networks does not provide you with a computer. No, you must bring your laptop. It's a security company that raised millions of dollars in the early stages of funding, but you must bring your laptop. The owner of the company sets the tone for everything. Did I mention talking down, yelling, criticizing, and demeaning the employees? This is common and about every day; sometimes, it's non-stop. It's scary, yet funny at the same time when you see grown men surrounding the phone with the owner berating every single of them. One might have thought the company is trying to save lives here, but no. The 15-minute screaming at the top of the owner's lungs was probably over a customer support issue that could have been handled easily with the department manager and customer support specialist. It's scary to think, despite all the articles in the past coming out about upper management and toxic work culture, that this type of behavior would end. Sadly, it hasn't. It was the worst experience I have ever worked in my career and personal life as a human being. It's sad to see another human being treat people the way the owner does. There's no compassion towards anyone, but this situation is more unfortunate because these people allow it. After this review, you'll see one or a few good reviews.
