Pros
The company has flexible working hours.
Cons
1) Even though the company has flexible working hours benefit, HR will question your punctuality (HR trusts the information given by the “trustworthy” insider). 2) Even if you are qualified to do your job, the management trust and follows their favourite unqualified staffs to determine the results of your job. They don’t trust you even if you work there long enough. 3) Those who can work, work hard everyday (including OT). Those who are the management’s favourites, can WFH and tai chi their tasks to the hardworking people. Example: The ad***, whom is also the HR “trustworthy” insider (aka mutual friends), can laze around every time in the office. Claimed to have tonnes of work yet have the time to do personal things almost throughout the day. Sometimes come late to work but go off early. Not willing to do additional ad*** tasks given by the management. At last, gave the ad*** task to other dept. 4) Always no budget to upgrade machines/ do maintenance/ buy stationeries/ invest safety precautions. But always have budget to send employees to Spain and earn millions of profits. (Not to say, they also bs to the clients about the top notch quality they produce but bts only we know…) 5) All the tasks you do and the reviews are for “show”. No point complaining because HR and management doesn’t care. They only care about the rapport and money they get from higher management. 6) The company doesn’t prioritise on staff’s safety. They remove toilet mats, switch off the warehouse light which is highly packed with drums (staffs always have to walk in between the drums to enter or exit the office) and organise celebrations in the warehouse (the buffet spreads were held in the warehouse in between the high stacks of chemicals). 7) The management anyhow hire and fire people. You get on the management and their favourites’ bad side, prepare for the battle. They will either pressure you until you resign, find excuses to get you terminated or, “Surprise! You are fired!” 8) Work even if you are sick or on leave
