Great staff, but underresourced - Direct Support Professional (DSP) ETTA Employee Review

ETTA is the best workplace I've found so far, because they treat their employees like family. They always are willing to try to work around your schedule, and they understand that life isn't always easy. Being part of a nonprofit isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if you have a passion for making a difference, specifically for people with disabilities, I highly recommend you apply. ETTA continues to grow in size, and they always have plenty of new positions.

In my opinion there are no cons.

The clients are the best!!!

All the program managers talk about the staff to other staff. They talk about things that goes on in the office that’s not suppose to be talked about. They make racial comments. All they do is LIEEEEEE. This company has the biggest liars I. Ever dealt with in a company. They play favoritism, they put words in staff mouths to get the written up. The director!!!!! All he do is threaten to fire people. He doesn’t know how to run a department. He talks to staff like they are his own children. He shows no support when staff comes for help. They all get information from the staff to just turn it against them for their own pleasure. I wouldn’t recommend this company to none. You will be undervalued, used, and stressed out for chump change.
