Pros

The actual data analyst team were great to work with. So was Margareta who was extremely helpful and kind.

Cons

The culture of the business is quite all work no play. You are micro managed on a daily basis by the MD, Deborah. After handing in my resignation, I was not contacted by Deborah at all until I asked if she had received my resignation. On my final day, there was no contact from her. In the final hour, margareta got into contact to ask if I'd stay on until I started my new role. I agreed as I was happy to be paid for the remainder of my time. There was absolutely no contact from Deborah (not even a thank you for staying on). Even on my actual last day, no thanks or any contact. I emailed her to ask about my access and thats when a quick "thanks" was squeased in to her response. The whole experience of working there was awful and the culture is implemented from the top down. As a word of advice for management (genuine advice) it may be beneficial to get some management training, it will definitely help your staff turnover. Until then I advice everyone to think twice before applying to work here!

Pros

The data analyst team is great to work with, supportive, knowledgeable, and collaborative. The work is very straightforward and not overly complicated.

Cons

I worked at ETFGI and, unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences of my career. There is zero career progression, the only concern is getting the work done, with no investment in employees' growth or development. The work itself is simple and manageable, yet there is constant micromanagement, making even the easiest tasks stressful. The work environment is extremely toxic. The boss is disrespectful, lacks people skills, and does not care about employees' well-being. There are no team calls or engagement, just relentless work with unrealistic expectations. Staff turnover is extremely high, which speaks for itself, people don’t stay because of the poor leadership. If you’re looking for a place where you can grow, feel valued, or work in a supportive team, this is not it. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values their professional development and mental well-being.

Pros

If you're looking to hear buzzwords like "data-driven" and "thought leadership" on a daily basis without seeing them put into practice, this is the place for you. With a leadership style best described as “absentee but intrusive,” you’ll have plenty of opportunities to figure things out on your own — mostly because clear guidance is a luxury you won’t find here.

Cons

Communication is opaque, feedback is nonexistent unless it’s negative, and micromanagement is disguised as “attention to detail.” If you enjoy being blamed for problems you didn’t create, you’ll feel right at home. There’s no structure, mentorship, or growth path (what do you expect with sucha small team) so promotions don’t exist. Neither does professional development. It's a great place to stagnate. The expectation is that you’re always available, despite being underpaid and undervalued. Weekends are treated as buffer days to fix issues that stem from poor planning.
