Pros
-With one exception, the entire team is wonderful to work with. -There is some flexibility regarding telework. That might be ending soon. -I have received several raises without even having to ask for them.
Cons
-As a contractor, you are at the mercy of the federal government. This (2025) is an uncertain time to be in this industry. -Upper management is making several decisions that they know most employees don’t like and don’t seem to care. This makes me feel undervalued. -There are constant office politics with the feds and the contractors that get annoying fast. -The benefits are not the best.
