As an employee you will roll the dice on staff being accepting, you may be looked down on you for who you are. Homophobic slurs and aggression is an almost daily occurrence within earshot of children and a tight nit group of family and friends are at the entire heart of the staffs structure, leading to hostile and inappropriate behavior by staff being ignored and unaddressed even by HR. You may get lucky as many are, welcomed into the arms of a click of gossips who care more about talking with each other and talking bad about there cohorts for fun. Or you may be like me, an adult suffering from the disabling ailment of Autism. Its truly disappointing and disgusting to see the harassment I endured and know that the people who will care for these children can use money and the walls of the buildings to hide there neglect and disregard for these children.
