Pros

large company, processes are smooth, stable during tech layoffs

Cons

1. They say there are not much of opportunities when you ask for a project change and you see constant job posting on various platforms. Feel like they don’t want you to change project. 2. Hard to get salary increase, when you are about to get salary increase they said we have a tight budget, you will have a raise but it is not a big one and we have to distribute among the team members who are going to get increases (shouldn’t it be based on performance?) 3. when you finally got the increase it took another three months to be effective 🙂 4. Hard to get promoted, mostly you will not get increases without a position change. after staying in the same position for two years you may get a raise but for me it was 2.5 years with a promotion.

Pros

Interesting projects, high tech standards and internal knowledge sharing, and a rich representation of all possible Slavic accents.

Cons

Engineering-first culture results in obnoxiously fragmented internal tech platforms because errybody wants to build it themselves. Not a big deal, just engineers doing what engineers will do.
