Pros

The company offers a lot of free useful trainings and mentorship programs, social package and has a clearly defined steps and requirements for promotion. I was lucky to end up on a interesting project where I can fully take advantage of everything EPAM offers.

Cons

The salary remains the same for entire year. Even though steps for promotion are well defined not always there’s opportunity to achieve them on the specific project or with the specific Resources Manager. Some projects are not so interesting and have a poor management & opportunities for growth.

Pros

Interesting projects, high tech standards and internal knowledge sharing, and a rich representation of all possible Slavic accents.

Cons

Engineering-first culture results in obnoxiously fragmented internal tech platforms because errybody wants to build it themselves. Not a big deal, just engineers doing what engineers will do.
