Business outlook
Pros
I worked a few years in one of the former Soviet Union offices and then moved to the US and currently work onsite. I can definitely say that working in an offshore office was a much more pleasant experience. But it's no wonder as you become just one of many contractors on the customer side. On the other hand, you will get a green card in just a few years. So it's a real opportunity to relocate to "the first world" if you have that ambition. Compensation and insurance are fine, given your location is not expensive.
Cons
The engineering level highly depends on the concrete project and customer.
