Pros

Due to the high employee turnover you will learn a lot bc you will be expected to take over all of their responsibilities (don’t expect training or compensation). You will feel validated when other industry people say something like, "Omg, I can't believe you worked for envogue I heard it was horrible!" You will forever make sure to read the glassdoor reviews before getting a new job Bagels that taste like they came from a vending machine on Fridays Getting to read these funny reviews. The nice ones are fake, for sure. getting to share my experience. hopefully you read this review and go with a different company, anywhere but envogue.

Cons

Expected to do an unattainable amount of work and stay late to finish it all Expected to take over other people's jobs when they get fired with no training, or compensation. They hire a lot of people that need green cards and many openly share that they think owners use this as leverage to overwork them cameras all over the office to monitor employees frowned upon to have conversations with other employees that are not about work you wont make any friends if you work on design side everyone is so overworked ur lucky if someone says hello in the morning you have to take lunch for exactly 1 hr at 12-1 pm every day like a child You have to sign your name on a piece of paper if you are 15 mins late starting work at 8:30 am is very early for a commuter owner monitors slack conversations if there is a safety issue or storm, company email for commuters to go home goes out last minute or not at all the worst covid handling- be prepared to come in asap even if nyc shuts down again or a new variant pops up no remote options no summer friday

Pros

Truly Creative Environment: The company operates in the home product fashion industry and is known for its strong creative culture, offering a great space for innovation. Excellent Growth Opportunity: It's an ideal place for fast learning and significant career development. If you are motivated and a quick learner, you can gain invaluable experience that greatly benefits your future, even opening doors to top companies in the industry. Supportive and Capable Leadership: The owners are not only smart and dedicated but also very nice people, creating a supportive work atmosphere. Rewarding for the Driven: For those willing to put in the effort, the personal and professional rewards are substantial. Your hard work directly translates into career advancement.

Cons

Not a Fit for a Relaxed Pace: This is not the right environment if you are looking for a low-effort or relaxed job. The company thrives on high energy and strong motivation. Requires High Self-Motivation: Success here demands being a proactive learner and a hard worker. Those who need constant guidance or prefer a slower pace might find it challenging.

Pros

Nice coworkers, they are very friendly and can help you out with anything. Dress code says its business casual but most people just wear jeans and tbh, many people look like fashion models.

Cons

All of the five star reviews on here are so faked. You can tell by the dates that its been posted and the responses. i’ve heard many rumors about people being constantly let go. The rumor is true. They will drop you so quickly once they find out you are not working up to their high expectations. Only worked there for a short time before i was let go. If you are looking for a long term job, this company is not it. They are constantly hiring new interviews because they are always letting people go. The job responsibilities that they post on the job application is not accurate to what they expect you perform. They secretly expect you to work overtime even though they said that they dont expect you to work overtime. They make you work more than what they are paying you to do.
