Pros

The benefits are great and they pay well.

Cons

There are many people who’ve worked here for 15+ years, so there’s a social hierarchy. They band together and will judge you as a new person. I doesn’t matter what your position is, your boss will defer to the most senior person to micromanage you. It’s crazy. The amount of judgement and gaslighting from this company is heavy, but it’s so subtle that you don’t notice it until you leave. The department I was in allowed someone to be a bully to younger/new people because their of their loyalty to the company. This is not okay. It’s hazing and it’s toxic. Another co-worker was so afraid to speak up that they just turned into a lair and threw everyone under the rug for fear of retaliation. I have never worked at a place that had so much gossip, negativity, and backstabbing that it actually ruined my mental health. If you can’t trust the people you work with and you don’t feel safe, why stay there?
