Pros

The company prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and supports employees through a wide range of employee resource groups (ERGs). The workplace culture is relaxed and supportive, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The work is impactful, contributing to the advancement of clean energy and shaping a sustainable future.

Cons

The company is significantly understaffed, often prioritizing hiring management roles over individual contributors. This leads to employees being overburdened, with slow progress on projects, if they are completed at all. Contractors are treated poorly, often excluded from team introductions and decision-making. They are viewed as temporary resources to fill workforce gaps without meaningful integration or commitment. Contractors frequently experience mid-project role changes and should not expect job stability. High turnover rates persist despite having some long-tenured employees. Contractors should continue seeking other opportunities while working here. Employees who conform to the culture, however, often enjoy long-term job security and promotions. Leadership decisions lack equity and frequently dismiss employee feedback. The company's push for a return-to-office policy has exacerbated issues, such as insufficient focus spaces and hot desks in open-floor layouts. Some focus rooms were reassigned as offices for executives. The company is not accommodating to neurodivergent employees and lacks adequate support systems. While the company promotes DEI on the surface, trans employees frequently face misgendering from colleagues, with the exception of support within the Pride ERG.

Pros

Great PTO benefits, very flexible.

Cons

There are certainly favorites among leadership. If you are on management's good side, you may see opportunities that others won't. Most internal promotions are decided before the job even posts, they just have to go through the formalities of posting/interviewing.
