Pros

Is leaving a pro?

Cons

Worked at Engie 3 years for various contracts. Fought tooth and nail for progression, didn’t get it. Fought tooth and nail for training, didn’t get it. Fought tooth and nail for my sanity, left just before I lost it. Many, many errors with my salary. Poor management, toxic culture. I finally left the company and what do ya know? 4 months later I am receiving letters that I now owe them money! They didn’t process my leavers form (even though I worked over a month notice) and also didn’t deduct annual leave. This has now affected my tax in my new role so my salary is still down because of Engie, I am currently in talks about a repayment plan but they don’t seem to grasp that at no point have I ever planned for such financial hardship due to such a poor, Dickensian company. ...’Just one piece of coal for the fire, Sir?’ Good news: I have taken all the bad out of Engie and turned it in to experience and I now work for a decent company where I am developed, trained and my sanity is fully intact!
